ABSTRACT
Background and Objective:
The aim was to evaluate the impact and timeless of vaccination on SARS-COV2 infections among healthcare workers (HWs), using healthcare utilisation databases in Marche Region, Italy.
Methods:
The cohort comprised HWs of Marche Region Health Authority divided into five local units (LU), 18-70 years old, residing in the Region since 2018. Follow-up began on December 27, 2020, or hiring date, or 90 days after a positive RT-PCR test for HWs with prior infection, if after this date. Follow-up ended at the date of the SARS-CoV2 infection, employment termination, seven days after vaccination course completion for participants with post-vaccine follow-up
