ABSTRACT
There is an increasing use of natural products and compounds in medicine, also in oncology research. These products including medicinal plants, phytopharmaceuticals, vitamins and even bio-wastes. It is generally believed that these products are safe for patients. However, still there are some concerns associated with them. Different methodsare used to evaluate the safety of these compounds, among which the in vitro studies are (evaluating the toxicities on different cells). The aim of our study was to check if the formulations of natural compounds are safe for patients, on the example of normal human cells.
