ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION:
children are major consumers of confectionery products that are typically high in sugar and artificial additives and low in nutritional value. regular intake of such products is associated with obesity, compromised immunity, and inadequate micronutrient intake. there is a growing need for enjoyable and convenient snack alternatives that support immune health while reducing excessive sugar consumption. Boosty Bites was conceptualized as a functional nutraceutical candy designed to combine taste with health benefits.

METHODS:
Boosty Bites was developed using a dual layer formulation. the inner core consisted of natural fruit juice and ginger juice solidified with agar agar to provide flavor and bioactive components. the outer layer was formulated with colostrum and beetroot sugar to enhance immune supporting properties and provide a healthier sweetening profile. sensory evaluation was conducted to assess taste texture and overall acceptability. nutritional analysis was performed to estimate sugar reduction and functional ingredient contribution. stability testing was carried out to evaluate product integrity over time. production processes emphasized sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.

RESULTS:
the formulation demonstrated favorable sensory acceptance among evaluators indicating successful balance between palatability and nutrition. nutritional analysis suggested reduced refined sugar exposure and inclusion of immune supportive components. from a health economics and outcomes research perspective Boosty Bites aligns with key pillars including potential improvement in immune health reduction in diet related health risks and strong consumer appeal. sustainable production methods further enhanced its value by aligning with environmental responsibility goals.

CONCLUSIONS:
Boosty Bites represents a promising functional nutraceutical candy that offers a healthier alternative to conventional sugary treats for children. by integrating immune supportive ingredients sustainable production and consumer friendly taste it may contribute to improved child nutrition and reduced long term healthcare burden. this approach highlights the potential of nutraceutical innovations in advancing public health and sustainability goals.
