ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND:
Inequalities in mental health significantly affect minority students in higher education, including Black, Indigenous, immigrant, and LGBTQIA+ groups.[1,2] These students are often supported by affirmative action policies.[3,4] This study proposes the concept of Digital EduHealth, integrating digital technologies in health and education.[5,6] This approach can play a strategic role in promoting psychosocial well-being, addressing the current fragmented evidence.

METHODS:
A scoping review mapped Digital EduHealth interventions for minority university students. Following standard methodological frameworks$[7-9] and PRISMA-ScR guidelines,[10] systematic searches were conducted in PubMed/MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, Web of Science, PsycINFO, and Google Scholar. Empirical studies published in English, Portuguese, and Spanish (Jan 2015–Apr 2025) integrating health and education for minority students were analyzed.

RESULTS:
Fifty-five studies were included. Interventions promoted emotional well-being, recognition, engagement, access, and academic belonging. Most showed positive effects, particularly those that were culturally sensitive. Research focused primarily on the Global North, specifically the USA. Barriers to implementation included digital exclusion, racism, and infrastructure deficits.

CONCLUSIONS:
This is the first systematic map of digital health, education, and equity in higher education. Digital EduHealth offers innovative pathways to address mental health inequalities, providing insights for inclusive policies and institutional practices focused on student retention.
