ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT:
Context: The development of an interdisciplinary framework for constructing an Individualized Therapeutic Project (ITP)1,2 applied to the auditory rehabilitation of people with hearing impairments who have undergone cochlear implant surgery within the Brazilian public health system (SUS) is aligned with national and international legal frameworks3,4,5,6. This initiative supports inclusive, evidence-based public policies in auditory rehabilitation. The proposal is grounded in a structuring matrix guided by interprofessional integration and by the principles of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF)7,8, aiming to strengthen person-centred care within the Care Network for People with Disabilities of the Brazilian public health system (RCPD-SUS).

METHODS:
The framework was developed by a research group focusing on individuals in the postoperative period following cochlear implant surgery, within the context of hospital care in the RCPD-SUS. Consisted of a systematic literature review conducted in indexed databases using controlled descriptors and free terms related to the ITP, interdisciplinary care. In parallel, an analysis of current regulations, public policies, and legal frameworks governing the Brazilian SUS was carried out3,4,5,6. The integrated synthesis supported the development of a theoretical-operational model oriented toward interprofessional decision-making and articulation across different points of the RCPD-SUS9.

RESULTS:
The proposed ITP model contributes to the reorganisation of clinical practices, care flows, and service management, enabling the generation of structured, standardised, and replicable data. These data support team qualification processes, continuing education strategies for health and education professionals, and scientific dissemination initiatives directed at managers, care teams, and society6,7,8.

CONCLUSIONS:
The ITP demonstrates high technological relevance and social impact by integrating the biopsychosocial model for the care of people with hearing impairments within the Brazilian SUS, in accordance with ICF recommendations, promoting equity, comprehensiveness, and continuity of care.
