ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT:
Menstrual and sexual health are crucial yet often neglected aspects of adolescent wellbeing in Brazilian public schools. Teachers frequently report discomfort and lack of preparation to address these topics, while girls express shame when requesting menstrual products. This case study documents an innovative intervention within Brazil’s School Health Program (PSE), in which first-semester medical students conducted interactive workshops to promote menstrual dignity, sexual education, and empathy.
